Beskrivning (engelska):

Location. Hotel Opera is situated in the centre of Gothenburg next to the Östra Nordstan shopping centre, 50 metres from the main Drottningtorget tram station and 400 metres from the Opera House. Gotheburg Landvetter Airport is 24 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.
Hotel Features. Guests can start the day with a complimentary buffet breakfast in the breakfast room. The hotel includes a wellness area with spa tub and sauna. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the property, while business guests can use conference facilities for up to 30 people. Parking is available at the shopping mall next door to the hotel.

Guestrooms.Hotel Opera offers 75 guestrooms, over three floors, featuring decor in warm hues with carpeted or wood floors and light wood furnishings. All offer cable television for a fee, direct dial phones, wireless Internet access for a fee, trouser presses and hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Gothenburg is situated right by the sea and a trip out into Göteborg's archipelago is a magnificent experience, whatever the season. Take the ferry from Saltholmen for the southern archipelago and travel free with the Göteborg Pass, otherwise it costs the same as a tram ride.
Renovation Notice:
Effective February 23, 2007, the hotel is undergoing extensive renovations with no estimated date of completion available. As a result, its bar, pub and restaurant facilities are closed.

Getting there. Airport buses serve Gothenburg and Borås. Timetables are available at Luftfarsverket Information at the airport. Taxis are available from outside the airport, and often have a fixed rate fare to Gothenburg city and other destinations from the airport. The easiest way to explore Gothenburg is on foot. Alternatively, you can buy a Göteborgskortet (Gothenburg Card). It is available at hotels, newspaper kiosks, and the city's tourist office and entitles you to unlimited travel on the vintage trams, as well as buses, ferryboats and certain sightseeing tours. It also offers either free or discounted admission to the city's major museums and attractions.

Driving directions.From the E6 follow signs for Centrum. Continue towards Centralstation/Östra Nordstan, and pass Nordstan Shopping Centre on the right. Drive straight on in the right hand lane, pass the Bookmaker, the Hotel Pub Restaurant, and the main entrance is around the corner.
