Location. Calmar Stadshotell is located in Kalmar, Sweden, within two blocks of Kattrumpan Beach and the Kalmar Country Museum. Kalmar train station is situated two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. This hotel is set in a historic stone building with green awnings stretching from the bottom floor windows. Calmar Stadshotell offers guests complimentary use of the wireless Internet access. A winter garden is available, and business guests can use the seven conference rooms available on site or the library.

Each morning a complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the hotel's winter garden. The Pipes of Scotland Restaurant and Pub serves Scandinavian dishes for dinner every day, and during the summer opens an outdoor terrace.

Getting there. Buses run according to flight schedules, leaving the airport shortly after arrivals and the city centre 45 minutes before departures. Cost for a single ticket is 25 SEK. Taxis are available and cost 150 SEK directly to Calmar Stadshotell. All prices are subject to change.

Getting around. The centre of Kalmar is compact and easily explored on foot. Hiring a bicycle is a popular way of seeing the town and the surrounding area. Buses connect Kalmar to the towns in the region, but can be infrequent. Hiring a car is recommended for exploring more of the area.
