Location. The Clarion Collection Hotel Drott is located in the centre of Karlstad, Sweden, 300 metres from the Varmlands Museum and 500 metres from Mariebergsskogen Park. Karlstad train station is 50 metres away, and the nearest bus stop is 250 metres away.Hotel Features. Dating from 1909, the five storey Clarion Collection Hotel Drott is a smoke free Art Nouveau property with a grand stone facade. Amenities include a fitness centre with a sauna and spa tub, a bar, and coffee and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Safe deposit boxes are located at the 24 hour front desk, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout. Garage parking (surcharge) is also available.
The Drott Bar is open Monday to Saturday, and serves traditional Swedish cuisine from an á la carte menu in a relaxed atmosphere. A buffet breakfast is available each morning for a surcharge.
