Beskrivning (engelska):

Location. The Park Inn Uppsala is located in Uppsala, Sweden, adjacent to the central train station, 200 metres from the city centre and 800 metres from Uppsala Cathedral.
Hotel Features. The four storey Park Inn Uppsala (accessible by lift) is located in the old Crafts Guild building, built in 1950. Amenities include a restaurant, bar, sauna and steam room. Massage and spa services are available from the onsite Uppsala Lilla Spa or guests can simply relax by the fireplace in the lobby, where complimentary newspapers are provided. Safe deposit boxes are available at the 24 hour front desk and multilingual staff are on hand to provide assistance. Guests are entitled to discounted rates at a nearby fitness centre and garage parking is available (surcharge).

Traditional Swedish dishes are offered for lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, situated near the lobby. Vegetarian and children's menus are also available.

Business amenities include conference and meeting rooms with complimentary Internet access in public areas.

Bicycles can be hired from the hotel and are an ideal way to explore the city. Other recreational activities on offer in the vicinity include golf, swimming and tennis.

Guestrooms. The 94 guestrooms are simply furnished and come equipped with satellite television, direct dial telephones, wireless Internet access and minibars. Private bathrooms have handheld showers, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. Rollaway beds and wake up calls are available on request.

Expert Tip. Every Saturday during the summer, there is a busy flea market held at Vaksala Square. Trading starts at six in the morning, so go early to find the good stuff.

From Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN):
Distance to Park Inn Uppsala is 40 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Arlanda Express train runs between the airport and Stockholm central station. The journey time is 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 200 SEK. Trains depart from the underground railway station and run to Uppsala. Flygbussarna airport coaches run between terminals 2, 4 and 5 and central Stockholm every 10 minutes at peak times. The 801 bus runs from the airport to Uppsala Central Station, twice an hour. Taxi rank officers are available to guide passengers to a variety of taxis, including environmentally friendly cars. Taxis to Stockholm city centre cost about 400 SEK and about 450 SEK direct to the Park Inn. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Uppsala city centre is easy to explore on foot or by bicycle. The city is served by an extensive bus network. Taxi fares can be very expensive.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow the E4, northbound, and take the exit towards Uppsala and the city centre.
Turn left to Vaksala Torg (Vaksala Square) and then take the second left after the square.
